A three-day celebration of the best surf and skate films and culture from around the world

Stabio, Switzerland (May 17) – Vans is proud to announce House of Vans at Skate and Surf Film Festival Milano – the first House of Vans experience since the closure of the iconic London venue in 2022. Taking place on the 26th, 27th and 28th May at Ex Macello in Milan, this annual event is Italy’s largest celebration of contemporary skate, surf, art and culture. Now in its 7th year, the festival shines a spotlight on some of the greatest surf and skate films from across the globe.

For three days, House of Vans at Skate and Surf Film Festival Milano will host a jam-packed schedule of action sports, music and culture programming, teaming up with a roster of Vans’ team riders across surf and skate, filmmakers, creatives, shapers and musicians.

The judging panel for the 38 films in the running for the top 3 prizes (Grand Jury Prize, Best Surf Film, Best Skate Film) includes Vans athletes Lee-Ann Curren (surf), Sam Partaix (skate) and Guillem Cruells (film director). 75 films were submitted across 18 different countries by some of the most talented filmmakers and athletes in the world.

Alongside jury members Lee-Ann Curren and Sam Partaix, other Vans athletes present at the festival include skaters Helena Long, Martino Cattaneo, Tania Cruz, Schianta Lepori and surfers, Ainara Aymat and Sophie Bell and founder of Surf Ghana collective Sandy Alibo.
