Vault by Vans partners with renowned artist and graphic designer, John Van Hamersveld to create a curated collection of nostalgic designs, including his iconic Wave print. Featuring his storied works on Vans’ OG Classic footwear models, apparel silhouettes and skate decks, this eclectic assortment fits in with the ranks of iconic Vault by Vans collaborations.

In this collection, Vans introduces new iterations of the OG Sk8-Hi LX and OG Classic Slip-On LX featuring Hamersveld’s designs in bold, retro colors and an apparel component that incorporates the iconic JVH designs on a classic black tee. And in a true showcase of heritage design, Vans presents three skate decks that match back to each design to round out the collection.

John Van Hamersveld has added decades’ worth of artistic contributions to the worlds of music, art, pop culture and action sports. While those savvy in the world of music honor Van Hamersveld for his numerous album designs for artists including Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead. Surf and action sports enthusiasts may know Van Hamersveld as the creator of the day-glo poster for Bruce Brown’s 1966 crossover hit movie Endless Summer, which has continually been used as a visual message of inspiration. Most recently, Van Hamersveld completed a large tank mural as a tribute to the city of El Segundo and the local surf legends.

The Vault by Vans x John Van Hamersveld collection launches across Europe on June 23rd, 2018 at select Vault accounts. Learn more about this special project at

Vans, the global icon of creative expression, introduces the Color Theory collection, an extended offering of unisex footwear and apparel inspired by the beauty that comes from the creative output of individual expression. As the boundaries between menswear and womenswear continue to blur, silhouettes are no longer constrained to traditional gender representations. Upholding the value of creativity, the Color Theory collection can be mixed and matched by anyone to define their own personal color spectrum.

Unisex footwear has been part of Vans’ design make-up since first opening in 1966, allowing fans to make any design their own. Color Theory applies that thinking to create updated constructions of hoodies, crewnecks, tees and hats that will be available in five key colorways – black, bleached apricot, corsair, dry rose and white. Designed to be inclusive and worn by anyone, each garment from the apparel offering will include a monochromatic color styling and minimalistic logos finished with tonal checkerboard embroidery.

The Color Theory apparel colorways match back to Vans’ five Classic icons; Authentic, Classic Slip-On, Era, Sk8-Hi and Old Skool. All footwear options will be available in the full unisex size range to complement the collection.

The Color Theory Collection is available to shop online at or in Vans retail stores across Europe from June 27th 2018.
