Vans has joined forces with the iconic Baker Skateboards to create an apparel and footwear collection that celebrates both brands’ storied history and identities in skateboarding.

Napapijri’s Fall/Winter ’19 collection celebrates the brand’s original jacket, The Skidoo, by revisiting it through the lenses of design, innovation, and sustainability. These elements come together in Skidoo Monte Bianco, a ski-jacket that combines Skidoo’s classic shape with Napapijri’s innovative spirit thanks to its high-tech features and details. Finally, Skidoo Creator channels The Tribe’s  independent, creative spirit by exaggerating the Skidoo’s traditional silhouette and turning it into a down-free streetwear must-have.

The all-new silhouette boasts the iconic Sidestripe that Vans has become recognized for, in addition to many new design updates. A breathable, linerless upper has been specially engineered to reduce bulk and improve support, while a flexible heel counter increases stability. The Mod RapidWeld also ushers in the Ultimate Waffle technology - a full-rubber cupsole crafted with variable thickness to deliver flex, traction and durability.

Beyond providing elevated comfort and improved fit, the UltraCush midsoles are also constructed using a reduced amount of glue – an attribute highlighted through the shoes transparent tinted rubber. The end result is an extremely lightweight and flexible outsole.

Throughout history, with each new era that defines skating, surfing, snowboarding and the surrounding culture, Vans has taken stock of where it’s been while focusing on what’s yet to come. The result has pushed both the brand and the entire footwear market forward. The Mod Rapidweld is the latest milestone to do just that, placing a premium on comfort and style, and ready to go anywhere you are.

The Mod RapidWeld is now in stores and in the hero colorway of quiet shade and true white, as well as all-black and racing red with true white.

After the great success the Pukas x Yow "La Loca" was, it is no surprise that we decided to add one more shape to the Pukas x Yow series.

We are finally (properly) introducing the Pukas surfboards x Yow Plan B board.

For those that don't know, the Pukas Plan B surfboard is an hybrid that stands in between a classic twin fin shape and a high performance thruster. A brilliant design out of the mind of Pukas's shaper Axel Lorentz.

The surfskate replica of such a board, had to be just as incredible so our designers, along with Axel Lorentz, created a surfskate board that can take your performance to the maximum level, yet still looking as clean as the original surfboard.

Vans, the original action sports brand began supporting BMX in 1979 becoming the first brand to support the sport. To celebrate this milestone and the unsung impact BMX has had on youth culture ever since, Vans presents an Anniversary Collection for men and women. Featuring a unique assortment of footwear and apparel inspired by the heyday of parking lot ramp demonstrations, neon clad kids and a longstanding form of creative expression.

Vans became the original action sports brand in 1976 when the Van Doren family released the first skate shoe, style #95. The sturdy construction, material upgrades and padded collar withstood the demands of skaters carving the concrete and became the foundation of not only skate performance footwear but design expression with its multi-panel construction.

This year's Vans Shop Riot will be held in Laax at the Crap Sion Gion.
The team contest will take place on the mountain at over 2000 meters above sea level with a special skatepark build by Oli Bürgin.

More information will follow soon and make sure your teams are ready for the special edition of the Vans Shop Riot 2019.

Date: 31. August 2019
